Meet Elise Manlove, APPL Community Programs Intern at Crissy Field Center
My name is Elise Manlove I am the new Community Program Intern at The Crissy Field Center. I am very excited to be given the opportunity to work with Crissy Field and to learn more about leadership and environmental education. I will be working with May Tran and the other friendly staff to plan fun and educational programs for the youth in our community. I am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Parks and Tourism at San Francisco State University. I look forward to my expected graduation in May of 2011 and hope to further my education through work experience in the Golden Gate National Conservancy. A little background about me is I grew up in San Diego and moved to San Francisco two years ago. I have a strong passion for traveling and have ventured to many different countries. I have seen many diverse places in the world and have learned a lot about life and about myself from the people I’ve met. I also enjoy going into the outdoors and spending my vacation time camping, I am an avid camper who is always in search of new destination to explore. I am excited to use my experience and interests to provide programs for the youth. I know I will learn so much from the internship and am so thrilled to be part of such a successful organization.
